Born and raised in Florida, Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her work in the public school system, she has experience in a private speech clinic, where she works closely with children age five and under.
Amanda has spent the past eight years supporting children from as young as age two through 12 years old. She has extensive experience working with children with autism and intellectual disabilities, and she is especially passionate about early intervention. Her clinical interests are rooted in Pre-K populations, where she enjoys using play-based therapy to help young children build foundational communication skills that support lifelong learning and connection. She also values building strong, collaborative relationships with families, recognizing the essential role they play in a child’s success.
Outside of her professional work, Amanda enjoys cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning, hiking, baking, practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family.
